The Net Value at Nova Conference in Boston
The founder of The Net Value Mario Mariani will give a speech at the Nova Conference which takes place from 9th to 11th November in Boston. The 13th annual Nova Conference is organized by the European student clubs at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management in association with NOVA-Italian MBA Association. In the past the Nova Conference has had among its speakers Franco Modigliani and Joseph Stiglitz (Nobel Prize winners), Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt, Mario Draghi (President of European Central Bank and past President of the Italian Central Bank) and the Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti.
Mr. Mariani will participate in the “V Panel: Start-up Italy!” together with Stefano Epifani, Alessandro Fusacchia, Paolo Gesess and Alessandro Piol.This edition of the Nova Conference aims to discuss the strategies, opportunities and challenges that Italy should consider to overcome the recent economic turmoil and revitalize its image abroad. As member of the Task Force of the Minister of Economic Development of Italy, Mr. Mariani will analyze what is happening in Italy on regards of innovation and start-ups. Moreover, representatives from AppsBuilder and Paperlit will have the opportunity to present their digital project with the aim of proofing that successful global companies can be created also in Italy given its numerous innovative ecosystems.
The event is expected to bring together an exceptional community of Italian and American leaders as well as an audience of more than 200 MBAs, Phds and alumni from American Business Schools.
